History

Tropical Cyclone Linda was a short-lived system of the 2003–04 Australian region tropical cyclone season. It developed on 28 January 2004 and persisted for only a few days, being last noted on 1 February 2004, giving it a total lifespan of roughly five days. Like all tropical cyclones in the Australian region, Linda fell under the responsibility of the Bureau of Meteorology's Tropical Cyclone Warning Centres at Perth, Darwin and Brisbane, which share monitoring duties with TCWC Port Moresby in Papua New Guinea. Linda was one of a series of systems that formed during a season assessed as slightly below average in activity.
